Well, not <em>done<\/em> done but done drawing. Yesterday I put down the pencil on <em>Minushi<\/em> for the last time. There&#8217;s still a few months of animation left to do but the last of the 8 1\/2 X 11 paper drawings has been completed. The pile of 1,700 sheets stands at 4 and a half inches tall, usually with two &#8220;shots&#8221; to a page.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.minushi.com\/images\/pixel.gif\" width=\"1\" height=\"8\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s pretty exciting to be hitting this kind of milestone.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.minushi.com\/images\/pixel.gif\" width=\"1\" height=\"8\" border=\"0\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/minushi.com\/images\/log-images\/drawing_table_sheet-1.jpg\" width=\"170\" height=\"130\" border=\"0\" class=\"alignright\" \/>This image here is a scan of a very special blank 8 1\/2 X 11 sheet of paper. See I work on a drawing table which has a smooth but hard surface and I like to have just a little bit of cushioning beneath my pencil to get the line weight I&#8217;m looking for. To achieve this I drew <em>Minushi<\/em> with a single sheet of paper as a backing beneath each page. This image is a scan of that piece of paper. Three years old, and the impressions of every image drawn for <em>Minushi<\/em> imbedded in it, not mention a fair bit of my blood, sweat and tears.
