Making a feature length motion picture by yourself takes a really long time. After careful reflection, i wouldn’t recommend it. By yourself, that is, with the exception of the fantastic actors i’ve coaxed into contributing. But enough about me, how are you?

Minushi – Chapter 14 will be up later this week. As mentioned previously, somewhere, i’m going to have to speed up production of the feature length release or slow down release of the online chapters in the coming months to prevent cranial explosion. Guess which of those is more likely to be my route, speeding up or slowing down. With any luck you’ll all stick around through this stint and continue to support Minushi in all it’s forms as we move forward.

I don’t think i’ve brought this up before but for awhile i was trying to get a subtitles onto the online chapters including a French translation but that hasn’t come through yet and unfortunately i’m going to have to hold off indefinitely while more immediate things take precedence. For those hearing impaired folks out there and/or the French, i beg your patience.

That’s it for now!

Well production slowed slightly over the holiday season but it’s back in full swing now on two fronts: 1, production on the online chapters continues but time now has to be made for, 2, production on the feature length cut of Minushi.

The feature length version will be slightly different from the way the show is unraveled online, and along with that there’s a lot of technical tweaking that has to be accomplished when making the transfer from Flash for the web to video. As such production on the chapters will have to slow slightly to make up for the time spent elsewhere; consider that my disclaimer; release dates will likely be getting a little further apart not closer. But hey, in the end, it’ll all be worth it!

Below is a drawing for use in a scene in the feature length cut of Minushi that will not be released in any online chapters.

Well it was a long dry spell for some, but Minushi – Chapter 13 has finally been released!

Next up i’ve got to get some work done on the back end of things here but new Minushi, as well as (i hope) some new supplemental material will be along soon enough!

Had my Minushi score cohort, Mr. Marc Schultz, into the “studio” this past weekend to get some guitar recorded for the latest Minushi music… And those of you buffs out there who watch their DVD Special Features right to the very end know that scoring a movie is one of the last steps before it’s done.

So look forward to Chapter 13 within the next couple weeks!

Whew! Getting a little sloppy about keeping this log updated! Anyway, that’s just because i spend pretty well every waking moment working on getting the next chapters up.

As you may have noticed on the homepage, i’m working on Chapters 13 and 14 simultaneously. You may understand better why this is once the episodes are released, but sufficed to say, it works out better if i do things this way… And no… This doesn’t mean i’m going to release them concurrently! Ha!

Anyway, that’s the update. Things are coming along just great. There’s actually some bigger news on the way concerning the greater Boneland community… But i don’t want to give anything away just yet.
